Tushon Robinson has over 30 years of experience as a thought leader in software development, technological leadership, sales engineering, and building and sustaining high-performance organizations. He is passionate about finding simple solutions to complex problems.

He most recently served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Overstock.com, where he was recruited by the President to create an asset-light network for rapid business growth. He and his team are responsible for creating and delivering solutions for an evolving eCommerce market.

After his undergraduate studies, Tushon was recruited by NASA Ames Research Center into their Accelerated Training Program (ATP). There, he helped implement the National Research and Education Network (NREN), a high-speed fiber network connecting all of NASA’s grand challenge centers. After his two-year tenure with NASA, he discovered his passion for start-up ventures. He was instrumental in preparing Baystone Software for Remedy Corporation’s acquisition and stayed on as Senior Software Engineer with the organization. After relocating to Austin, he continued his growth in the private sector, holding roles of Manager, Content for Motive Communications (IPO), SVP, Product and Innovation for Newgistics, Inc. (acquired), and Chief Operating Officer for Bractlet (acquired).

Tushon is dedicated to civic engagement. With his wife, he co-founded the Excellence and Advancement Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to transformative and restorative solutions to culture, race, school discipline, and incarceration.

Tushon received his Bachelor of Science in Systems & Computer Science from Howard University, and continuing education in Innovating Products and Services from Kellogg University’s School of Management Executive Education program.

He has been married for 28 years and has a 23-year-old son and a 17-year-old daughter. In his spare time, he plays golf and is an avid reader.
